Ben Wyskida

Ben Wyskida is a Senior Vice President in the National Issue Advocacy Practice. Ben brings over 10 years of experience in politics, media and public affairs to BerlinRosen, approaching communications with a campaign perspective and a tireless commitment to social change.

Prior to BerlinRosen, Ben served as a Communications Executive for The Atlantic Philanthropies, a $2.5 billion private foundation, where he advised national advocacy grantees on communication strategies for issues including health care, social security and criminal justice. At Atlantic, Ben also led media relations on institutional matters, focused on protecting and enhancing the foundation’s brand and reputation.

Prior to Atlantic, he was Director of Publicity for The Nation magazine, earning high-profile national media coverage and managing press strategy on major investigative news stories. Ben also worked as Communications Director at the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, where he led an institutional re-branding, as well as media campaigns around juvenile justice reform and green collar jobs with then-Executive Director Van Jones. He began his career as a grassroots organizer for the Sierra Club, where he led a successful campaign to preserve 6,000 acres of threatened open space on the Potomac River.
