<p>Junior Associate Taylor Maxwell brings an understanding of publicity, marketing and social media to her work with issue advocacy groups, causes and companies. Prior to BerlinRosen, Taylor worked in public relations and social media for an agency in New York, as well as one in her home state of North Carolina. There, she helped businesses and their non-profit partners develop public engagement strategies, build their brands and customer bases through social media and win tactical media placements.</p>
<p>While studying at the University of Virginia, she managed social media networks on behalf of the Semester at Sea study abroad program and worked in political offices, including the Washington office of U.S. Rep. Leonard Boswell, CGK Partners, and the David Paterson for Governor campaign in New York.</p>

<p>Laura Brandon is a Senior Associate in BerlinRosen’s national issue advocacy practice in Washington, DC. Laura puts her experience on Capitol Hill and winning political campaigns to work on organizing, legislative and issue campaigns for labor unions and advocacy organizations.</p>
<p>Prior to joining BerlinRosen, Laura served as Deputy Press Secretary for the Obama campaign in Colorado, where she helped garner statewide attention for the work of the Obama Administration on issues from education to women’s health to renewable energy. Before joining the campaign, she worked as Deputy Press Secretary in U.S. Senator Michael Bennet’s Washington office, where she worked with national and Colorado media to help build a reputation for Sen. Bennet as a results-driven leader in the Senate. Laura also served in the press operation of Sen. Bennet’s successful 2010 election.</p>
<p>A native of Washington, DC, Laura graduated from Syracuse University with a dual degree in newspaper journalism and political science.</p>

<p>Leslie is a Junior Associate at BerlinRosen, focusing on national issue advocacy campaigns and communications. She works with many of the firm&#8217;s human rights, media and philanthropy-focused clients. Prior to joining BerlinRosen, Leslie honed her media relations skills at Rubenstein Associates as the assistant to the Media Director.  There, she coordinated interviews, handled on the ground event logistics, tracked media coverage and earned bookings for a diverse set of clients across the firm, from media and entertainment to cultural institutions. Leslie helped manage media for major breaking news events in New York City and aided in the ongoing publicity for several of New York&#8217;s most prominent hospitals, schools and organizations.</p>
<p>Leslie lives in Manhattan and is a graduate of Emory University, where she studied film and developed a strong interest in social justice and documentary filmmaking.</p>
